John // OC now, OH forever.

Same reason they're not announced for the LA Offspring show.

You guys are making me think Ive done myself a favor by never having sat lawn at a show... haha

Stone Pony website lists MCS as playing the actual venue whereas Jack's is playing the Summerstage.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

It's definitely not ideal, but when you're like me and go to TONS of shows or try to go with a bunch of people, I'd rather stand on an incline than drop $100+ to have a flat seat to sit on haha

I'm pretty much GA pit or bust for arenas/sheds at this point.

I assume the minus tour is announced next week

    Regular

Perhaps mcs doing an underplay / b market tour on the way to and from DC warped. This one announced first as it's part of a NJ wide "fest"

    Are You Watching Closely?

Yeah, the only seats I've ever had was to Pop Disaster as a youth and Blink reunion, and I've been to hundreds of shows over the last 20 years. I'm 38 and still doing pit, but I know the days are limited. haha. Especially with $200-300 pit becoming the "norm" for our scene and bands I paid less than $40 for originally. :(

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I think the countdown timer ends next Monday which is when it’ll be announced

I did lawn for, like, Dave Matthews in high school with my friends, and it was a terrible experience. I'd rather not go. Especially if it's a butt-rock-adjacent band like The Offspring has sort of become.

Yeah being on the lawn is like standing outside the venue, only with a feed from the show being played through speakers.

Looks like Blink 182 is gonna be at aftershock. You can see their logo when the glass shatters in the latest teaser

Totally disagree about lawn. It's definitely not ideal if it's a band you really love, but when it's a band who you only kinda dig their hits, and can get into the show for $20 and just kick it with friends, it can be a good time.

  24. 10000% this. And my amphitheater has a cool perk where you can pay like $15 to upgrade your lawn ticket to a seat, and sometimes that’s totally worth doing if it’s a band you’d like to be closer for.

    idk man

I haven't been to a proper amphitheater show in about six years but at this point with my current mindset about vibing out at shows and eggs being a dollar each I would absolutely choose a lawn ticket over a seat/pit. If I end up going to that Summer of Loud tour that's exactly the plan
