Offspring / JEW / NFG is really made for me. Just a perfect summer tour. Basically what I’ve wanted Blink to do for years now lol.

 

Well its finally here after months of sarcasm and speculation - Brand New live show dates. Wouldn't call it a tour just yet as it's just 3 dates, but yeah, it's out in the wild now.

(I will not be attending).

 

I wonder if Brand New's shows will have the original members, or if a couple of them don't want to be associated with Jesse anymore. From what I understand, none of them went on to play in any other bands after Brand New, so I imagine money must have talked really loud here to get them back on the stage. But who knows... It'll be interesting to see if things backfire for them and they retreat again, or if their fanbase ends more forgiving than they should.

You’d be surprised at how many fans don’t know about Jesse’s actions, or how many of them actually do know and are turning a blind eye to it. These shows are gonna sell out. It’s gonna be successful and people are gonna act like nothing happened

 

Yeah, I assume the majority of casual fans are pretty ignorant to it all. Especially younger fans who are just discovering their music on nostalgic emo playlists and whatnot.

 

One of the shows is near me and I've seen several people share the venue's announcement post.

Of course the venue turned the comments off.

 

Yesterday at the acoustic show Jesse played with a band, the only member of BN who was there was Brian. So not sure who will play on these upcoming shows

 

according to setlist.fm, he played with "the human surfers" for part of the set, which, i have no idea what that means. maybe just a way for him to get around saying its a "brand new show"
