Somewhere in the last 1-2 months my calendar started to hit pre-pandemic show levels.

I just realized that I'm now stuck choosing between three different shows on the same night in April and that there's several instances of me having shows back-to-back. It's been a while since this has happened with any regularity and it feels good to be back!

(And, TBH, seeing High Vis/Militarie Gun one night and then seeing the Bouncing Souls with H2O, Dave Hause, and School Drugs the night after is gonna hit so damn hard!)

 

Sing Out Loud Festival lineup is getting announced tomorrow. I just saw the list and there are a couple artists that people here would be excited for.

 

interested to see what type of venues, they tried arenas last time and ended up cancelling the tour.

Yeah they were supposed to play 4 stadiums in 2023 but that tour got cancelled.

I think they definitely overshot demand. Especially since they had toured arenas the previous year.

Although, since Blur was so busy that year, I’m sure they wound up using that as the excuse

Same! It's been so long since I've had to make some hard choices between shows. It's fun but also my schedule is looking very hectic, especially next month.

 

Footballhead are the shit and that’s a great tour for them, show up early

This year is already the busiest concert season I've had in years, and I just know once that Live Nation $25 sale happens it'll close to double. It really helped that most of the shows I'm going to are in are smaller venues and reasonably priced for once.

In April alone I've got 5 shows, which is just as many as I attended in all of 2023.

Living in Jax I feel like Rockville eats up the majority of bands id see on spring runs in either Jax or Orlando.

Most shows I've got tickets to are in the 100-500 cap space. Which helps a lot.

Not sure how some of you all do it with the arena shows... I can stomach maybe one per year. Otherwise, I'm paying way too much for too shitty a view.

Have any of the openers (or co-headliner?) leaked for that Offspring tour? I remember NFG was bandied about at one point... But I'm not sure how legit that way.

And after looking at the South American dates I could see a Rise Against/Offspring co-headliner doing pretty well. Especially if they had a decent mix of openers.
