Yeah I feel bad for young kids nowadays. I got to see SO many shows as a teenager/college student that I would have not gotten to see nowadays. I know everyone loves to complain about evil corporations driving up prices but I think streaming has just gotten so many more people into various bands/music so the barrier to entry is lower thus more demand. Back in 00s, you had to do a certain amount of leg work (buy music/illegally download it, figure out presales, etc) and all that stuff is so easily accessible it just means more people want to go see the big acts.

Haven't seen an official announcement but a venue here in NC just announced a Holy Fawn show. Suspect something official would come soon.

 

The best show I’ve ever seen (unfortunately for me now) was Kanye West with Kendrick Lamar on the Yeezus tour and I forget how much I paid but it wasn’t more than 45 dollars

For sure, though looking at it now I think it is just a one off show before the Rivers of Nihil tour they are on starts.

 

My claim to fame is seeing The Used for 92 cents in 2002.

 

Adele for free in the Billboard magazine cafeteria in 2008.

 

I was at the show in this video. Their album wasn't out yet. During one song, Bert puked all over the stage, Quinn threw his guitar down into the puddle, jumped on his guitar, picked it back up, and just kept playing the song... It is still the grossest/coolest thing I've seen at a show haha.

Unfortunately agree that the Yeezus tour was one of the best concert experiences I've ever had. We paid $75 for the tickets, and at the time I remember we were stressing about how much money it was and if that was a financially poor decision

Still in my top 3 live shows ever too (St Pablo tour is still #1).

Going into the arena and being like ummmmm the stage is a fucking mountain?!?!?
