Tour is bogg, 200sw, gridiron, and mutilatred. see my post. this is a one-off (maybe hw/full of hell are touring together - nothing's been announced yet there) around rockville and sonic temple.

 

openers vary by city. The stadium shows have bigger acts.

In the most stressful morning of the year so far, I got tickets for Bloc Party/Metric in Detroit AND The Killers in Milwaukee let's GO

Don’t stadium shows usually take a couple days before/after to build and tear down? Those union stagehands are gonna make BANK in overtime that week.

 

Both Wrigley and soldier field have their own stages they use. So they will just keep the stage up and have trucks in and out with the production for whatever act is playing

there was a crazy run at the united center like 10 years ago that was a different event each night for like a week straight.3 concerts and a few bulls and hawks playoff games

 

They did shows during hockey and basketball seasons????

 

I saw Beyonce last time at the Falcons stadium and meh. Stadiums (even ultra modern ones apparently) are not designed for acoustics, just spectacle and in the end overall, I was let down by what I got for my money.

Pre gaming was fun, Atlanta was in a great party vibe for 2 or 3 nights (whatever it was), and I had a fun time with all the fanfare, but I am not at all interested in paying a lot of money to do it again as the actual concert experience wasn't all that great.

 

Really crushed I'm gonna be out of town that second Summerfest weekend. I would've made a weekend of that

 

stadiums in general sound terrible, obviously, but MBS seemingly has notoriously bad sound. i think garth brooks was the first concert there for his big come back tour and all my friends that went could talk about was how awful it sounded.
