Lol I think I also misread Sleon's comment above to be about the Katy Perry tour. I need my morning coffee.

Also MCR didn’t even sell out that tour…that was pure greed and ticket selling optics…Ticketmaster held tickets to make it look sold out and drive up interest and prices

    Things have changed.

The second show in LA is basically untouched in entire sections

Underoath tour must be dropping soon. Knoxville venue just announced an April 15th date.

Any word on support? Which venue?

Didn't say any support. The Mill & Mine. They've kinda got a stacked spring line up for a B market.

Yeah agreed. I don't think she has hardcore fans at this point so it's a show for casuals who are less inclined to pay $400/seat well in advance. If this was Chappell Roan doing an arena tour, those would be $400/ticket easy and blow out fast.

Oh whenever chappel roan tours, it’s a WRAP. She’s doing damn near Taylor numbers

looking at the end of the Rise of the Roach tour dates, it could just be a one or two stops on the way home sort of thing

Openers announced for the Poppy tour: Kumo 99, Chinese American Bear and House of Protection.
Anyone familiar with any of these acts?

we missed the trees glow gold beneath.

house of protection is awesome and i bought a ticket on the sole impression that they'd be opening for her. they've only released one EP but each song is completely different from the last. super fun listening experience. not as familiar with the other two!

I’ll give them a listen today! They’re one of the openers for my show

Did they fall off hard or are these supposed to be tiny shows for them?

  20. sam_might_say

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Intentionally smaller. They’re promoting them as “intimate” shows

underplays for promo. they def fell off hard though, not sure if they’re considered nostalgic by younger people though, but I hope not.

Nah I think if the album is at all accessible they can still command big places. I mean, we're living in a world where The Lumineers play arenas/sheds/stadiums so I imagine Mumford can still do the same.

All I know is I'm still not over M&S winning the AOTY Grammy over Some Nights and for that reason alone I will continue my boycott

I listened to Kumo 99 as they are playing Coachella and they are on Outbreak lineup as well. They are more electronic/industrial
