Where exactly is the Treefort Music Hall? It wasn't a venue when I lived in Boise or at least if it was, that's not what it was named. Did they build a new venue since I moved back to the east coast in 2019 or just rename one?

John // OC now, OH forever.

Looks like it opened in 2023 on Broad Street. I've never been, but saw that the tour dates listed them at the festival when the festival is two months ahead of their show.

Has there been any word on Four Chord Fest yet this year? Trying to plan a potential trip for it around my honeymoon.

That's enough to go off of for me. Hopefully we get dates soon then, but I'll start operating on the assumption that it will be around mid June like usual.

Cake is another very bad live band. They play the music fine, but the 2 times I've seen them, they played so little, and talked so much it was a very poor show. And if I recall, just nonsense rambling that lead to general unease / restlessness in the crowd. I'd have to do some research to make sure that's not a typical experience for me to even consider seeing them again.

I saw them once and it was one of the worse band I've seen, no stage presences, the singer was getting mad because the crowd was quiet, talked about how boring we are. gave up halfway through the show and just phoned it in after that, no encore.

Saw Cake at a festival (waiting for Beach House) and they spent 15mins of a 45min set giving away a potted plant to someone in the audience, no joke.

I've been a huge CAKE fan since Fashion Nugget came out. It's one of the first CDs I ever bought with my own money as a kid. I have wanted to see them live for so many years and the times I was supposed to see them in the 2000s fell through for different reasons (new job, a wedding).

I finally saw them for the first time in 2023 and thought they sounded great live and had no complaints about their stage presence or anything. BUT - the one thing that was weird - which I initially thought would have been awesome - was that they had no opener (Awesome!) and the show started right at 8 p.m. (even more awesome!) but halfway through their set, they went on an intermission and it wasn't like a quick 5/10 minute thing - they turned on all the lights, and were gone for at least 25-30 minutes and when they came back they did the tree donation part of the show - so there was quite literally about 45 straight minutes with no music and all the momentum of the show just came to a screeching halt.

I don't know when you saw them but I saw them in 2010 at Irving Plaza, they were great. 2011 at TErminal 5, great. 2012 at Williamsburg Waterfront and they were great. Good setlists, good story-telling, they gave away a tree, crowd was into it. Not sure what happened since then.

It was actually only in June last year. Previously Aug/Sept timeframe so no clue what timeframe they will go with

Not sure if this was mentioned but the Bring Me The Horizon drummer confirmed as US tour in the fall.

I expect us to get an announcement soon, it was right around this time last year that they announced. Do not count on it being June though, it bounces around every year. August in 2023 and September in 2022 if I remember correctly. I think they pick the based around what headliners they can get.

I'll be interested to see if they return to Carrie Furnace this year since it does not seem like it was very well received last year (I didn't mind it though).

That's pretty sweet. I'm guessing all those singers listed at the bottom will be joining Black Sabbath for lead vocals on a bunch of songs. Because I dont see it being possible for Ozzy to do a full set anymore.

According to their IG stories, Home Grown have some more shows to announce this year. I could definitely see them on Four Chords.
