Dance Hall Crashers is a really great add for a very specific type of person. To say I'm enthusiastic about that is an understatement... But the rest of it is late 2000s-era Warped Tour 101.

I like Pennywise but there's no world where I need to see them do another 30-45 minute festival set that is 30% cover songs.

But this is also just like, 6 of 80 bands or whatever so. Lots of room for it to get better. Or worse. LOL

My brain went from John Mayer to Joyce Manor until I realized, "Oh yeah, Jack's Mannequin" haha

yeah so ridiculous to think a major pop star who flopped would desperately follow in the footsteps of one of the most successful tours ever that dominated the pop conversation for the last 2 years

Fair. I'm not familiar with Dance Hall Crashers but if they’re of the ilk you're stoked about then it's likely of a decent quality. Ska isn't something I'm deeply versed in so I'll amend my poop statement.

The others...it's just not impressive. I'll leave it at that.

4 things in life are certain. Death, taxes, the NFL rigging the afc championship game in the chiefs favor, and another new lil diy fest popping up somewhere in Michigan every year

So the AAR/Jack's Mannequin rumor is now debunked, right?

Dance Hall Crashers is a bucket list band to see live for me, they haven't played in 20+ years, I might be crazy but this alone is make me re-think on going to Warped Tour if I can get tickets and its in LA.

Completely missed that Jacks Mannequin has an Anaheim show too. Will hit that one up. November is usually less busy for me

I feel that! But I'm also feeling like there's a chance they might pop-up on other festivals that are a bit more "my energy" than Warped Tour. Or maybe just do a short run of headlining dates at some point. I'm in Boston so there's a strong shot it would come my way, though, so there's a bit of "major city privilege" stank on my position. LOL

I just doubt the rest of the line-up will be enough for me to spend $1k+ on a trip. But I can totally see how it could be for a number of people.

You might be right but they said, “Kevin Lyman is likely the only person in the world who could have convinced us to reunite the band after 20 years” so take that as you will.
