Outbreak is such a weird festival

 

Friday night is a departure for sure but the weekend lineup is fucking stacked, like 20 bands I'd love to see

I honestly think we need an equivalent to it in the US. Something that’s still a hardcore fest but realizes that most hardcore kids also listen to emo and pop punk and rap.

Furnace fest is different in the sense that it’s intended to be early 2000s core nostalgia & doesnt include rap.

not a dig at furnace fest, I think both are sick. But they’re very different

 

this year's lineup was nearly half rappers

 

trust me i dont pay that close attention to fests 3000 miles from me that I'll never attend lol

 

I'm all for more rap being mixed into hardcore/metal shows.

Very excited to see crownuvhornz with Jarhead Fertilizer and Phobophilic next week.

Gonna need more details on Full Collapse vs War All the Time set. New Found Glory's 20 year tour where they played 2 albums in a random order was really cool, I hope it's something similar

Something I like about Outbreak is that they upload full sets of almost every act to their official Youtube channel.

Seeing harcdore kids moshing and stagediving to Danzel Curry is dope and Im down for more Hardcore festivals with HipHop acts.

 

This looks sick as fuck.

I also agree with everyone about rap/hip hop acts being on hardcore lineups. Flatbush Zombies playing this is like the hardcore fest version of Cypress Hill or Ice Cube playing those Danny Wimmer fests

 

Riot Fest also have had Rap acts for a while. Tyler The Creator and Post Malone played Riot before they blew up.

 

Every year I look up flights for Outbreak and realize there's no way I can afford it. Their lineups are insane every single year.

 

Weezer 30 year Blue Album tour is imminent it seems

 

Tickets to the Koyo and Fleshwater shows in the bag
