Being the 20th anniversary, I hope they manage to pull something cool! My hopes is they finally get Green Day. Sex Pistols is a bucketlist band for Riot Mike and now that they are touring with Frank Carter, getting them coheadline with Op Ivy would be awesome

Hope its true but a Rilo reunion would definitely headline?

If they aren't headlining Kilby over Beach House, there's no way they headline Riot (and I say that as a huge RK fan). Probably last on one of the side stages, or right before the headliner on the main stage, but I don't think they're at the top of the poster.

 

oh for sure. If the reunion was real they would definitely be over Beach House.

 

Rilo Kiley seems like a no-brainer for Just Like Heaven fest next year

 

Green Day playing Insomniac would be a fun move.

 

I genuinely love the new album and this is one of the cases where i dont understand the nostalgia for the past material and hate for what theyre doing now.

Okay so update on this. That lineup is “fake” because they added Suki Waterhouse and Lucy was not added

but it’s still likely the last unknown is Rilo Kiley because:

 

I really hope that Rilo speculation is true, would love to see them again. But also seems so wild to me that a Rilo Kiley reunion would be billed below Beach House.

UPDATE: Actually scratch that. I just took a look at Beach House's spotify page and they have a song with over a billion streams, with about 14 million monthly listeners. I guess they blew up on Tik Tok recently? I last saw them in 2016 at FYF Festival and they were a side stage sub.

Feel like given the rather tepid response to their latest album, Glass Animals is going to be hitting the festival circuit hard next year.

 

that record was the definition of a flop…bizarre that the tried to make an entire record of Heat Waves 2.0

 

Beach House is way more popular than Rilo Kiley now, it’s not that surprising honestly

 

I mean, I liked it (it was #50 on my year end album list) but, yeah, definitely felt more streamlined. It was similar to Dua Lipa in that they made a more streamlined version of their pandemic hit and it just didn't pan out.
