Bonnie would be a great choice, I would just feel odd that Stand Atlantic just released a new album and then she leaving the band to go on tour with LP

She could do both… they have tour dates in September. They could do a USA tour early 2025 and then she could spend the summer on the linkin park tour then return to stand Atlantic in late 2025/early 2026 depending on what the tour commitment for linkin park is

I like the cover with Bonnie on vocals
I feel like Poppy relies too much on backing vocals live and lacks energy, even though I like her studio work

It would be huge for her career and it will give Stand Atlantic more mainstream exposure as well plus the amount of $$$ she will be getting to front LP would be unreal! But anyways from an UK point of view I can see LP headline the main stage at download festival then do arenas over here afterwards or do an one off UK headline outdoor show of their own at either Gunnersbury Park which holds 25,000 people, Finsbury Park which holds around 45,000 people or an one off stadium over here like Tottenham Hotspur stadium

I saw them at Milton Keynes Bowl for Projekt Revolution so that would be an option for them. That line up was insane, LP, Jay-z, NERD, Pendulum, Enter Shikari and The Bravery.

Now all we need is Nsync to announce their 2025 tour and this week will blow up the internet.

I don’t know if it’s been ever talked about but it’s been cool to see all these streaming services start to grab live concerts.

I still prefer YouTube for like certain genres but having sets recorded for historic purpose is good.

Have fun with the Oasis ticket situation, friends. Gonna pop open a cold one and watch this thread during on sale day for some chuckles.

It'll be interesting watching these two fairly huge reunions roll out one after the other to see how the discourse is for the both of them. For very different reasons. Haha.

I find it interesting that Oasis is (seemingly) jumping straight into a tour. A few years ago, I would have assumed they'd do Coachella, a European festival or two and then announce a proper tour 4-6 months later or something. Get those fat festival checks, then double down with a tour.

New rumor according to a newspaper is that the High Flying Birds will be the “backing band” for the Oasis shows. Kind of weird, but considering that HFB already has two members of Oasis, I guess it works.

I’m still expecting Bonehead there tho

Funny, the Rose Bowl came to mind for me for possible LA venues, but BMO or Dodger Stadium seemed more fitting.

aren't baseball stadiums much much smaller than football ones, capacity-wise?

Depends on how you have it set up seating wise but most of the time yes

Oasis shows are about what I’d expect. 5 US shows = no shot I’ll get tickets. Damn.

You know, seeing that there’s only like 5 NA shows, bigger stadiums like that makes sense. If there’s only gonna be five shows total here, I imagine people will travel for it. That combined with locals should make filling them pretty easy
