The self titled is great too. I stump for 00’s 30STM, everything in the past 10 years has been really mediocre.

 

Love Like Winter alone has me considering going to this now

 

I'm also going to the 30 Seconds tour purely for AFI and the couple of old 30STM songs that I wanna hear. Got tickets for dirt cheap and it would be my girlfriend's first time seeing AFI after I got her really into them this year so I'd be sad if it got canceled lol

The ADTR tour ends tonight. I know we're getting the FYS tour this week, so we're probably also getting the TSSF tour too I imagine

 

I will be pissed if they dont get at least an exclusive event button!

 

I mean as a fan of both KL and INK, I still think it's fucked up that INK is charging their fans to be extras regardless of what the music video turns out to be like.

 

oh I wasn't defending INK, I think it's funny that they're butthurt. Charging fans to be in a music video instead of paying extras is clown shit. And I used to love INK.

 

I still remember the days they had fake accounts on AP that would only post on news posts for the band, which I wanna bet they submitted the news themselves too.

 

sold out Justice show in DC at Anthem last night had tickets on StubHub for $30 an hr before doors.

 

Echosmith announced a few dates celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Cool Kids

 

Crazy how far in advance this is for the venue size

 

Am I out of the loop or is announcing a tour 8 months in advance super odd?

 

It's early but I imagine it's due to 1) Visa's - lots of UK / Euro bands having issues at the last minute 2) a global tour planned around this so locking in the various countries now and 3) just trying to get ahead with all the uncertainty in the booking industry with the shortage of transportation etc. Maybe take advantage of low rates / guarantees.

 

It's the same thing for Within Temptation and their upcoming uk/European arena tour later in the year.. they announced it an year in advance!

 

i think this is all 100% the reason, getting the visas going now and locking in that tour prep. Wanna make it worth it if you are spending the money. Make sure you are playing to full houses.

 

Almost all of these shows I’m going to in August went on sale last November/December lol

 

Been a fan of AFI since 2002 and somehow never managed to see them live... I had tickets to this cancelled STL show lol planned on bailing before 30STM too, but still bummed I'm missing AFI.

 

Ah gutted for ya, I hope one day u get your chance to see AFI live

 

I honestly was really only bummed because the cancellation announcement came like three days AFTER they played in Kansas City (equal distance from me as St. Louis). So I 100% could have gone to that show instead had I known.
