    Things have changed.

Everyone gets greedy and wants to expand outside the thing they're good at. I swear...

The Ice Spice stop in NYC is at a 3,500 cap venue, which seems pretty appropriate. But it looks like there's a huge gap in the schedule to anticipate a second night.

Beabadoobee added 2nd nights to NYC and LA for her tour. She'll probably be doing arenas in major markets next year.

KROQ ultimately had the best talent pool in late 90's/early 00's but I think HFS might have even beat K-Rock in NYC for some of these.

For headliners and people into butt-rock K-ROCK would win but… As far as depth and quality that looks good on paper in 2024? The WBCN and WHFS line-ups topple the K-ROCK ones for the east coast.

They even had a few that went deeper than the KROQ ones. But… KROQ was undeniable in that era.

Yeah K-Rock NY were definitely butt rock champs. They got both Korn and SOAD to headline their radio festival in 2002.

I’ll see if I can get cheap Buffalo tickets just to see Bedouin Soundclash. Haven’t seen them live since 2007 or 2008.

I was at that show. In hindsight, that lineup was nuts. System of a Down, Korn, Incubus, The Strokes, New Found Glory, Papa Roach, Hoobastank and Home Town Hero.

Dysfunctional family picnic 6 ! What an unreal lineup…DFP 8 was also amazing as they had like a mini warped tour set up for the morning for pop punk/emo bands and then a lineup w Brand New, The Strokes and Beastie Boys

Ha yep I was at DFP 8 too! Funny I remember they were struggling to sell tickets for it at the time, but now that lineup is something that Lollapalooza or Coachella would kill to have. Jay Z even came out to do 99 Problems
