small st. louis venue posted and then deleted an event for Better Lovers tour. Then someone in the ol ETID fb group said seeyouspacecowboy, grey haven and foreign hands are scheduled to be opening

I know that Better Lovers have name recognition because of ETID and The Dillinger Escape Plan but I feel surprised they're headlining this still. Would think it would be SYSC/Greyhaven/Better Lovers/Foreign Hands. I mean they still only have 5 songs out, unless they're going to reach into the ETID and TDEP catalog how are they going to fill up an entire hour set?

 

they have an album they are finishing/finished. It will be out in the spring.

 

Rumor making the rounds that power trip returns tonight at the Mohawk in Austin

 

My ride to San Antonio bailed to see Frozen Soul so I'll be at that Mohawk show now. So I'll report back!

I ain't mad about Power Trip coming back, but the band without Riley just feels weird so I can understand being down on it.

 

Attila, Born of Osiris, Traitors, and Extortionist being announced next week.

 

It's definitely not the same without Riley and I don't think they're going to continue. Blake kept saying they just really wanted to get back on stage and play some of those songs again and they were clearly having a blast with it. Bittersweet is the best way to put it.

yeah I don't remember the details but due to health problems they probably have to stop touring for real this time, hard to wear platform boots in your 70s

 

this is the end of a 4 or 5 year end tour. I think I got numb to it.

Apparently there's a US Architects tour that's going to be announced with the new single on Monday.

 

Probably a spring tour since they're on rockville and I assume Sonic Temple too

 

sometimes I think about the Architects/Loathe tour that was announced during Covid that never came to be :')
