2nd Slipknot show added in LA September 14. Traffic is gonna be a nightmare with Green Day being across the street that same night

    Fuck. That blows.

This may convince me to go to the SD show instead…

  4. I guess just hold it up to yourself instead of fully trying it on? But I totally get wanting to make sure a $40 t-shirt fits before actually buying it. Sizing is inconsistent and so many bands print on crappy brands.

their cruises always have drastically different setlists, just like the proper 3/11 days

    311 Setlist at 311 Caribbean Cruise 2023
    311 Setlist at 311 Caribbean Cruise 2023
    311 Setlist at 311 Caribbean Cruise 2023

huh? they still switch up the sets pretty significantly aside from the go-to opener and closers

I used to agree with this opinion but yea post covid bands are cutting corners on what they print on and who they use, and the prices have gone up so I get it, also my wife has point out that cuts will be uneven and inconsistent. Like the front won’t line up to the back of the shirt. So as annoying as waiting can be. I totally get it at this point.

True story - Architects sold me a shirt with a bunch of stains all over it. Didn’t realize til I was maybe 10 feet away from the merch table, went back the second I noticed and they were absolute dicks about it and would not let me exchange it. So yeah, I quickly glance at everything I buy now

  8. I mentioned this in another thread a while back, but I basically only buy band shirts printed on Bella Canvas anymore. Good quality and I know their small fits me perfectly.

I’ve had bands that had the wrong size wrapped with tape that said L and give me shit for being like “hey you gave me the wrong size, I needed a large and this is a medium”

I once bought a Menzingers shirt at a show and didn’t realize they gave me the wrong size until a year later. I just thought I shrunk it in the wash by accident.

I’ve learned to always go with the bigger size if you’re between two sizes.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

I wanted to buy this shirt at Coachella from an artist that did a collaboration with a clothing brand and instead of using their own actual blanks they used gildan for some insane reason so I’m always skeptical about shirt sizing

I used to exclusively buy shirts at shows, back when they were usually $20. Now they're double in price and I don't go to many shows anymore

I've sold merch for a ton of artists & used to get SO annoyed when people would ask to try on different sizes, & feel completely the opposite about it now for all the reasons everyone said above. I'd much rather them try 2 sizes on before buying than come back to the table an hour later asking for a different size because they didn't try a few out. I'll gladly still exchange them but it's screwed me on inventory a couple times haha

As someone who buys a lot of band shirts, the sizing inconsistency drives me crazy. Half my shirts are L and the other half XL.

If there’s ever a band shirt I want to buy from a band that doesn’t really need my money (arena acts), I’ll wait for a sale on RedBubble and buy from there.

I wouldn’t try on a shirt at a show, but yeah, sizing inconsistency sucks. I’m either a L or an XL depending on the brand

  19. Jesus, that's awful. Definitely hope she can make a full recovery.

The older I get, the less good I feel about stagediving, and I was doing a lot of it for a while. Just feels reckless in retrospect.

That's scary. Didn't they piss a bunch of people off a few months ago because they got hissy at someone who was complaining about moshing at their shows?

He stage dove during the same song in Philly a few days prior. This is so sad & scary... moshing & stage diving aren't going anywhere, everybody stay safe

in all fairness the person who wrote that was very rude to the band about people basically enjoying them cause she was up front and not there to see them. So a little different and it wasn’t about stage diving it was more about moshing, crowd surfing, jumping up and down.

Local rock station posted the Livenation sale list on their IG. I was pessimistic about the quality of the shows but I was pleasantly surprised. Im talking Green Day, Sum 41, Glass Animals, NFG and more

Wow this is terrible. Hope she's able to recover.
Nice to see the band made a generous donation on the GoFundMe page. But I wonder if any legal action is going to be taken.

    Are You Watching Closely?

Assuming it varies regionally? Cause the only list I saw was rather barebones for TX (the "Big 4 cities") but Im also not sure if that was a whole list or what
