ive been saying, those bands have been leaving a lot of (my) money on the table. a real drive thru throw back tour would do gang busters.

 

I’d bet money on Homegrown being on Furnace Fest

Yes. Last time I saw them (pre-Covid) they played Somewhere on Fullerton. Not sure if they still do.

 

I think SOAD cannot stand each other so doubt they'd be able to make it full a through tour. They haven't played the East coast in over a decade.

 

I don’t think they all actually hate each other, I just think there’s not a lot of seeing eye-to-eye about the direction of the band and whatnot, so occasional one-off shows and fest appearances are all the band do now because of it.

I’ve been under the impression that Serj isn’t fully on-board based on what I’ve read in interviews with the other guys

 

Such a bummer too, because I'd pay a lot of money to see them.

 

I think Serj and John def have a strong dislike for one another, but I agree the band just in general is at odds over what they want.

 

Which is odd because I believe they are brothers-in-law

 

I mean, I don't like a lot of my family

 

SOAD has always been a strange band. Daron in particular seems like a total introvert. He put out an awesome Scars On Broadway album in 2008 and was all set to tour on it and then....just cancelled it.
