What size/type of venues are we looking at for this tour

Parkway Drive have a AUS 20 year tour announcing this week(with a career spanning set list to boot)

 

Hope we get a US leg

 

Let me state for the record that I am nonplussed by the discourse around ADTR, FYS, and TSSF as I get older - like it sucks these bands are still out there and bands I like are touring with, but the internet discourse here is so tiring and circular that I just don't know what to think at this point.

 

The All Stars tour account is active again and teasing a comeback

 

I’d want it to go back to the way it was the first three years, a giant tour with a lot of big names, I get the margin to make money was very very small, but it essentially turned into a tour package with 2-3 top-mid level acts and then a parade of like 5-6 straight up openers on any small tour.

 

there’s a Buffalo date at Riverworks but only one I remember seeing on the routing.

 

Does FYS still employ the guy from Keep Flying who protected the abuser in No Pressure?

I need a spreadsheet at this point.

Haven't seen any official announcement yet but there is a date for a co headlier for Stone Temple Pilots and Live, doing "Purple" and "Throwing Copper" (30th anniversary). Soul Asylum and Our Lady Peace are also on there.

 

not that I'd go see them but I Alone by Live is one of those songs my mom played a lot growing up and it rocks

 

I saw Live open for Counting Crows once and Live's set was one of the most interminable hours of music I've ever experienced.

If someone said to book a Northlane headliner in 2024, invent animate and thornhill would def be the openers people choose. They understood the mission perfectly.

 

That Gaslight Anthem tour line-up is really, really sweet and I can't wait to hear those new Gaslight tracks!
