I'm going to that tour next week, I'm excited!

 

My friend at the Beartooth show tonight in Nashville said they said they’d be doing arenas next year

 

Caleb's been saying onstage at basically every date that he thinks it'll be the last time Beartooth plays these venues and they'll be in the local arena next time. And honestly based on how well this current tours been selling I think he's probably right.

Avril Lavigne at Glasto is something I was not expecting

there’s over 100 stages. unless you’ve been to Glasto it’s hard to grasp the vibe or the scale. imagine a festival with literally zero corporate sponsorship or activations, spread across a farm 4x the size of bonnaroo. over 250k people onsite, all camping, no VIP areas…it creates a real sense of community.

each bar/beer tent is its own venue, decorated uniquely with a stage and full lineup. saw mark ronson do a DJ set of Prince songs to maybe like 100 people in 2019 at this small cider bar.

the late night areas are unlike anything we have in the US. the gay area features two clubs (NYC Downlow and Meatrack), both of them being some of the best queer venues I’ve ever been to. there’s legit a dark room under the DJ area in the downlow lol.

I’ve only been once but have been trying to go back every year since, best festival in the world.

I had no idea that Meghan Trainor is still big enough to do Madison Square Garden.

I am always amazed at how “big” Meghan Trainer is. Sometimes I just wonder if they want us to THINK she’s that big. She is so annoying to me and her music is just not for me, at all. But, hey, if people like her and her music makes them happy. By all means.

 

That’s a sick tour. Haven’t heard from Rarity in a long time so that’s cool to see.

More Jennifer Lopez shows have been canceled. The grand total is now: 7.

When I saw that five had been canceled I had a feeling Cleveland would be coming and I didn’t even look at the availability but just had that feeling.

 

The Trophy Eyes show in Philly is at 1pm and Spanish Love Songs is that night. Sounds good to me.
