That's wild if Korn is playing this big of venues. I remember they did a 20 year tour for their self-titled and they played an 1100-capacity venue here in NYC. Granted, it was smaller compared to the other venues but still....that tour was mainly theaters.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Spiritbox was one of the openers, didn't someone mention how they weren't going to tour this year until someone gave them a really good offer?

 

They're on the same stage as them at Louder Than Life so I could see it.

 

Nu-metal nostalgia is riding high and I'd imagine it'll be a relatively limited run (and perhaps even the single LA show with some festival dates adding the album play).

It's interesting that they keep dipping into the S/T album pool, though, because I'd think Follow The Leader would be a bigger draw in that regard.

They were one of the bands I had in mind, though I honestly couldn't tell you what their draw is as to whether they'd be big enough to be direct support or just an opener-opener.

 

If we're going based off of LTL lineup and thinking the Korn S/T is a tour then something like Korn/Gojira/Architects/Spiritbox/Polaris would sell well.

they most certainly will have a stacked lineup, nu metal nostalgia is at a high, and this is the album that started it all, itll probably do just fine

Chili Peppers seem like an obvious headliner for that if they are still active at that point (been on like a 2+ year world tour).

 

Probably just all the bands the guy recycles across all his festivals.

 

Motion City Soundtrack appears to be teasing an announcement of some sort tomorrow
