Weird, I've never seen a band return that fast. I just caught them in ATL with Joywave and now they're back in July?. I was about to be annoyed I paid $70 for a second market ticket, but seeing the choice of venue and supporting acts, It's all good. The coca cola Roxy in ATL sucks and there's not many shows that would get me to go there.

I think they might have under-estimated the demand of this winter tour so I imagine once those dates started selling out quick, their tour manager realized there was demand for another US leg. I could be wrong but I think even for UK/European bands, touring the US is still much profitable than touring mainland Europe/UK.

Yea, it's been years (I think they said 8) since they've done a US tour. They killed it live. Good for them though - they put on a heck of a show (and also for Quarters of Change - they are a great new band and happy to see them on the bill - though I enjoy Joywave a lot so glad I got my preferred lineup).

Sidenote but Joywave is apparently doing a fall headlining tour (at least according to what Daniel announced in NYC this past week). Curious to see what size venues they play.

And that he’s pulling arenas and stadiums? Do his fans really not care about his actions?

Yep - same thing was stated at my show. Last time they played a relatively small venue when headlining, a 650 cap. I saw them In Nashville as well at a similarly sized venue. I would think all < 1000 rooms still for their headliner. They had a good crowd show up 'early' for them (though it was only a 2 band bill) but I don't think they could do much bigger than that yet.

    idk man

Latest single was so cool but this album title keeps making me think they are going to break up and this tour title did not help.

Didn’t think they could so a stadium. Better be some good support

Not sure if it's a tour or just one show. Haven't seen any other venues share the teaser yet

We thinking one date? Or tour?
I mean technically they were the co-headliner of Sick New World with System last year. And I'd say System could do stadiums. But agreed it better be good support if Korn wants to move tickets.

The album play aspect is going to be a big factor. Especially if it's one of only a few shows in which they're doing it. Support is going to be key, I think, but I probably would have said the same thing about that A.F.I. show last year... This is a bigger venue by about 5k but still kinda comparable, I think.

The openers will be key to making sure it sells out, and in particular, I think having a legacy act and a younger act with some buzz would do them really, really well.
