I thought the tastings were for all ticket types? I got GA tickets to the Sunday show in Boston and it came out to $73 each which is definitely a good price point considering the length of the fest

I’m guessing the final LA shows will be pretty stacked considering they’re really the final shows and it’s a somewhat-hometown gig.

I’m betting any amount of money that Bad Religion, Pennywise and/or Alkaline Trio will be on the lineup

Also, Punk In The Park might be fucked in terms of a lineup next year lmao

I see it now. GA gets 12 samples and VIP gets 20

They're for all ticket types. But VIP gets 20 versus the standard 12 for GA. (But if we're being real about it, in my experience, after a certain point... Most of the breweries stop caring about the tickets for the tasting.)

I didn't think of Alkaline Trio! But you're right. I can totally see it. My pipedream billing for the MA date involves some combination of Bad Religion, the Bouncing Souls, the Lawrence Arms, the Suicide Machines or Fishbone, and at least one of the "classic" Fat bands (Strung Out, Lagwagon, Less Than Jake). I'm also hoping the reason MxPx didn't do a Boston headliner on their upcoming east coast run is because they're part of this. LOL

EDIT: Didn't include the Descendents in the mix because they played the last Boston PiD date. And I'm assuming the Trio won't be part of the MA date because they're playing here in March.

Yeah I said fuck it. Got the 3 day pass for SoCal. Its a show of the times but $375 for 3 shows...one being the final show ever, with unknown support (I assume SoCal will get essentially all of them spread throughout 3 days)... its worth it.

This will be my riot fest/wwwy festival of the year

If NOFX plays 3x at Pier 17 here in NYC they're gonna need some support. They haven't played here in a while but I don't know if they're at the level they can easily fill 3 nights even with the added push of "last tour ever".

would never go on a rock cruise, but that lineup is pretty solid. It's been like 20 years. I need to see Chimaira and PTW again in 2024.

Well they're obviously gonna have support for all these shows. Each show last year was a mini punk fest. They're essentially doing a 3 day punk fest in NYC with them headlining different albums each day...and I assume somewhat different support each day?

I think they'll have no issue selling well

minus slaughter to prevail, this is actually a pretty solid lineup.

Gonna skip Nofx this time around due to $ but man I had a great time at Punk in Drublic last year.

What's better than sipping samples for a few hours then hitting the stage with a perfect buzz?

If they run it like all of the other Punk in Drublic dates it'll be completely different support each day (which will definitely help). The pool of support options is interestingly large when you think about it (especially when you branch out into "Fest punk" territory and consider the Menzingers, Frank Turner, etc. who have played PiD dates in the past).

Gonna be a slow week for show announcements, on sales likely not going to happen on Thu or Fri. Then again, if I were promoting a large shed tour, I'd probably want to announce it before all the Black Friday buying.
