    Oh helloooooooo

I recognize like 4 of the local bands so I’m leaning towards it being legit.

saw this on Reddit and it’s absolutely mental. SLC at this time of year is beautiful too.
One interesting tidbit— TPS is continuing their reunion into 2024? Interesting

I'm dying to see the postal service bad. They completely ignored the south on the reunion tour. So hope we get some sort of second leg of tour from them

Makes me realize that Hoobastank is one of the rare bands that could probably work at both Sick New World and WWWY

To be fair..some of their stuff has a slight punk-influence in terms of tempo, melodies, etc. They toured with the likes of both Linkin Park as well as All-American Rejects in their heyday.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Yeah the first l thing I noticed was TPS and Death Cab being on there. Ben said in an interview that Death Cab would take a break next year and that there was talks of doing a UK tour but logistically couldn’t work.

But, with how insane that tour did, I could see them pulling some strings and doing another leg of it. Get to some of the areas that didn’t get a date. That’s like printing money right there

That's wild that it couldn't "logistically" work in the UK (I assume due to costs) which is, again, proving my theory that all the regulations/tax differences in Europe/UK make it very difficult for North American bands to tour there without the US tour subsidizing it in some way.

Might legit go to that for Hoobastank

Sorry, I should rephrase it, I think it was more-so scheduling issues. It’s Friday and my brain is fried from the week

My wife is from India originally and I'm somewhat fascinated that they ignored on 95% of tours but like...2-3 times a year they get a big act. I guess Lolla Mumbai is a way to bring more acts there.

  22. When Chai Met Toast is an amazing band name haha

That's a big leap, TBH. "Some of their stuff" is referring to maybe like, 2-3 songs in the catalog...

Let's be real and just say the reason they're on a festival like this is because there's a certain type of person that called any mid-tempo melodic rock with loud guitars "emo" from like, 2003-2006, and that's exactly the demo they're courting here. Looking forward to Breaking Benjamin's slot next year.
