I wonder if Hopesfall is gonna do a tour on The Satellite Years, would love that.

Steph not playing in Europe must have been the motivation for the second guitarist they've had on the US tour.

 

Wish they wouldn’t have let him put such a bullshit statement on the bands account but whatever I guess

 

It's a shame because I think this has probably been the Deftones most successful tour in the US in terms of the venue sizes they're playing and the response they're getting. Unlike a lot of bands from that era, they are still releasing relevant and vital material that their fanbase is responding to.

All this stuff really bums be out. Deftones have been one of my all-time favorite bands for quite some time and we’re a massive influence to me musically and all that stuff. But this past year I’ve been losing a lot of respect I’ve had for them. First the Sergio drama, and now this. I feel bad for their bands overseas. I couldn’t imagine paying good money to see a band I love and having an integral part of the band not even be there. That shit sucks

Idk I'm not a Deftones diehard but I love their music including their recent output and I'm gonna feel just fine dunking on Stef and then still blasting their records

 

Something called "Is For Lovers Festival" will be announced on Monday...

 

Will probably just be a fest showcasing local Dayton and/or Ohio-based bands with HH headlining. That’s just my guess

You mean $391 for a solo headlining show isn’t a good deal? I’ll just stick to festivals for arena acts now.

 

I’ve been to 160+ shows and have never been to an arena show. Not counting the outdoor sheds. Prices are never worth it when you can see them headline a fest.
