I fully endorse the tour thread derailing into a blink fav album thread for election night in the US. Not my actual vote, but just to get this thing off on the right foot... Neighborhoods is not only my favorite but the best blink album.

Live Nation is operating under the idea that concerts will return to normal next summer.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Live Nation is also bleeding money and will probably have to sell/shut down venues, so of course they're going to try to desperately make summer happen

The Lawrence Arms are doing their annual "War On X-Mas" event as a livestream this year with special guests Brian Fallon, Tim McIlrath, Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, Kyle Kinane, Sincere Engineer, Worriers, and Sam Russo.

This was exactly the kind of news I needed this year!

Now, to sit and patiently wait for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones to announce what they'll be doing for the Hometown Throwdown...

I was watching a Q & A yesterday with The Matches about there new documentary and it was moderated by Justin Pierre from Motion City Soundtrack and at the very end of it he proposed a Motion/The Matches tour for 2022! Not sure how serious he was but thought it worth mentioning as something to be on the lookout for. Crossing my fingers!

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

A MCS/Matches tour would be sick, and my sister would lose her shit because those are literally her two favorite bands.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we got another MCS tour in the future. I’d be there!

I expect MCS will do 1 full USA tour every couple years with a handful of festival spots a year.

  17. sam_might_say

“Damn son, where’d you find this?”

I could 100% see them being one of those one-off/mini tour/festival bands after the pandemic blows over

Yup, follow the same kind of schedule as someone like The Early November and so many other bands from that era.

Absolutely. A handful of other bands from other genres come to kind too (MxPx, Goldfinger, Murder City Devils, etc)

    I’ll take it!

Plus Knuckle Puck being billed above Thrice and Circa Survive sure is funny.
