I could see a lot of big package tours coming out of this too. Like, 3 headliners, 3+ openers. Really consolidate some of the tour packages.

to me, maybe I’m being naive but a return for something like warped or mayhem, something like an all stars tour. Where you take a ton of these bands and push giving people value instead of the same four to five band bills.

that's a great way to get me to stay home from concerts in 2021 too!

I agree, that more touring festivals or larger packaged events will happen (aside from Warped). These kinds of events pay all of the acts flat guarantees, so there is zero risk for the artist. The risk is all on the side of the event producer.

I mean Mayhem was already supposed to happen this year but got delayed until next year. And Sad Summer is also happening next year. So realistically a lot of this is already happening.

For anyone interested in the rescheduled System of a Down and Korn shows in LA next May 2021, a ton of tickets just popped up. A few more of my friends just grabbed pit tickets and there's still plenty left.

Recent tweets and other 'inside conversations. So far it will be for newer bands with three larger bands. Mostly metalcore.

So Sad Summer is for the Pop Punk bands and this will be for the heavier side of warped?

Exactly. Think Disrupt but ran properly and a little bigger

Waking up from the nightmare that allows Kevin Lyman to still think it's a good idea to put on large touring festivals.

I totally meant to post this in the metal thread but it's staying up here because it slaps.

Rebel Rock in Orlando finally cancelled. Knew they would, idk why they were trying to make people think otherwise. Bummed I don’t get to see Limp Bizkit and Judas Priest.
