I'm actually a little surprised MCR is reuniting? All I've heard for the past forever is that it will never ever happen again.

really what they did was genius, they fell off so hard during that last album cycle to the point there couldn’t sell out 3k venues. They go away everyone forgets and they are back to arenas nine years later.

This website is so funny. I'm not calling you out, but, when people say "oh it's a cash grab" it's usually mentioned for the bands/artists who do not need the money, such as MCR.

But then a majority of people on this website have these weird thoughts that bands like State Champs, Real Friends are living like Taylor Swift...

Also, I know who is opening for MCR and 94.5% of you will be pissed about the two openers. Feel free to DM me ;)

  20. they’re living a lot better than 95% of bands in their genre tbh

Instagram at the end of the day is not real life. Many of the people in the scene and people in some of those bands I mentioned have jobs away from touring. It's not all as glamorous as social media makes you believe. I like these bands as well, I'm simply stating what other user's comments are.

at the end of the day they are getting back together due to the demand that has been created the last few years. It def has at least a bit to do with money, no matter what anyone says. If there was no demand and they were just gonna play to 2k-4K a night i highly doubt they would ever get back together.

As another user said, Gerard has more than cashed on the Netflix deal. Sure, the other members maybe not so much. I think it's just right timing is all. If they wait another 5 years probably no one actually would care.

I mean-- the popular artists in any genre are living better than 95% of bands in their genre.

There's no genre of music where everyone is living lavishly and successful.
