I don't think their new album would've done well if they self-released it.

It looks like they scrubbed all their social media from before album was officially announced, but Brian was definitely talking about how freeing it was to be recording an album without label influence.

There's a huge difference between recording something without any input from the label and needing said label to help push the release. A lot of people thought I Prevail would tank hard after Lifelines. If they actually self-released it, the record probably wouldn't have obtained a strong debut on the Billboard Top 200.

That is such and outdated perspective. Labels have zero power in 2019. This album sounds like something a label would want them to right too lol

Our Last Night is hosting a thing called Thanksgigging at the House Of Blues Boston to celebrate 15 years as a band on November 29th

Do you think they will do only that show about 15 years as a band or maybe it's part of a tour?

I'm like 90% sure when they were opening for State Champs they mentioned a fall headliner, but i could be wrong.

Being As An Ocean would probably tell you differently.

This. I like this. Northlane hasn't been to the states since 2015, I'm stoked.

I think they are doing a fall tour but that being the last date/special date for it is my guess.

That didn't stop Equal Vision from refusing to release their last record.

    But they released it themselves...

AFTER the label chose to not do it because it didn't fit their standards. This pertains to the "labels have zero power" statement.

Rumor has it that there’s a band in Braille on the poster and that it’s Silent Planet. Could be completely wrong, but that’s what I’ve heard

if you look at the braille alphabet and translate it all out, it just turns out to say “featuring,” provided i did that all correctly

Anyone going to the rise against show tonight in Chicago?

I don't think Erra or Northlane ever do hour long sets. As far as i know they're do 10-12 songs ay most for headliners so probanly 45min each. I would have been way more stoked on this in 2014 but still gonna go regardless. Whole lineup is stacked.
