It's me, the contrarian who stopped listening to Emarosa when Chris Roetter left

I love these forums but it's pretty funny to see when people shit on venues that are say (500-1000) versus (1000-2500). I worked for several event management companies, know very minor people in some of the bands discussed on here and guess what, if you are not playing arenas (BMTH, ADTR) or Ampitheatres (A7X, Korn) you are not as well off as some of you think these bands are. Social media hides and creates these lives we see, many of your favorite bands on here have jobs when they are not touring. Yes, even bands like TWY, State Champs, BlesstheFall, etc. Point of saying this, rather than waste your time shitting on music you don't like and judging; just support the bands you do LIKE so they can keep touring.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

Kill the Music isn't really a great source but people on here have mentioned some kinda Used/Circa/Thrice/whatever tour this summer

Yeah, I usually don’t pay much attention to it, but this was too good to not ask about.

This would match up with this comment earlier in the thread:

(in response to whether Circa is touring this year)

I'll take a wild stab here and say this is what TSSF or Counterparts are doing.

Pure Noise Tour 2014 was some of the most fun I’ve had at a show from start to finish.

This is probably the TSSF/Counterparts tour

I've heard that this is a thing, and that Thrice is involved. Don't know anything else beyond that.

  19. Counterparts is a headliner.

Also, pretty sure the Trophy Eyes tour is with Four Year Strong.

Not a tour post exactly but a question I had. Have any of you ever been to a "surprise" show where a big name artist plays a small venue (usually announced day of or day before)? What big artists have you seen in small venues?

Someone in here mentioned a summer fest featuring Memphis May Fire and Atreyu months ago. That's the first mention I've seen of it since. So maybe it's legit.

Almost all of those bands are playing both Warped Anniversary shows with the exception of Sum 41 who is only playing AC. Could be real.
