i've never had a problem with ABR shows on a weekday, they almost always play on a friday/saturday here. thankfully. they've sold out the norva last couple of times they've been here. soooo stoked.

 

Can't say it's legit truth or not.

 

What a slap in the fucking face to Denis, if true.

 

What a joke. I hope that's not true. Danny left the band in January 2015. He hasn't even been out of the band for 2 years.

All signs point to the inevitable. I feel sorry for Denis. Maybe he'll pull an Axl Rose and get super in shape and not suck anymore.

Instagram post deleted... guess Asking Alexandria is welcoming Danny back.

 

It just doesn't make sense to me.

One of the main reasons Danny left the band was musical differences, the dude is making a country album right now. The first album that AA makes without Danny is so much heavier than their previous release showing that they clearly wanted to stay a metalcore band not move toward mainstream rock like every other band like them (BMTH, OM&M, etc...)

At the very least, AA is up to something. posting pictures of Stand Up and Scream, Life Gone Wild, and Reckless and Relentless. Maybe rerecorded with Dennis? That's a best case scenario for me.

 

With Dennis posting what he did this morning...its all up in the air.

 

Danny rejoining AA only comes across as a desperate attempt to be popular again to me, on both sides.

 

Yup. They got what they wanted from Denis and probably saw they had hit their ceiling with him in the band.

 

Touring could be weird then. Danny cant scream since he tore a vocal cord and that eliminates half of The Black. The only way I could potentially justify Danny rejoining is bringing him in for cleans only and let Dennis do the screaming.

 

He might have originally left for musical differences but he probably couldn't stand not being in the spotlight anymore. He thought he was bigger than the band and found out that he was replaceable.

 

I'm going to be blunt about it, Danny is and was a terrible frontman. Denis was a well welcomed change and to kick him out for Danny is a huge step backwards. I guess we'll find out all though soon.

 

Get ready for a 2 and a half hour show!

 

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of our second album, 'The Mother, The Mechanic And The Path', we will be doing shows on both coasts this coming January. These shows will consist of most of the songs from the 2006 triple-album. Some of which you may have heard in concert before. Many others will be played for the first time. In addition, we will be playing a bunch of songs spanning the bands entire career. We're excited and we think these will be really special events. Special guests to be announced soon. We hope to see you there.

I'm not sure what it is about Denis but he never clicked for me. I had several chances to go see them live with him and I passed them all up. I enjoyed Danny live so I guess to each his own.

 

Looks like Matt & Kim, Daya and The Mowgli's are doing a college tour together.

 

Looks like it'll be at least another 5 days for all stars to announce.

I don't even care anymore.
