Possibly whomever their closest band friends are, so STYG and SFTP would be most expected since they've been close their entire careers pretty much. Amity and Sam from Architects also shared the save the date and show announcement and they are close to both of those bands too.

The venue has a high cap so the band's guest list doesn't end up taking all the tickets from fans. Their guest list is approx. 1,000 people and only 5,000 tickets are being released.

 

Only 5k tickets are being released? How do you know that?

Architects and TAA makes sense. Personally not a fan of those bands but I'd probably watch them.

Wishful thinking but I would love to have In Hearts Wake or Crystal Lake on this. CL said they're coming back to the US in the summer, have a ton of hype right now, and are heavily influenced by TGI. IHW guys are close to TGI and are due for another US tour.

Either way I'm buying tickets right when they go on sale.

I was told only 5K via Vigil, I have contact with him. He said there's only 5K tickets for the show. That's all the standing room capacity. The remaining 2.2K is seats on balconies so those aren't being released.

 

Only one I’ve seen so far is Anaheim

 

Pretty sure those are the two capacities for standing and seated configurations, not that there is a 7200 total capacity

Venues | Shrine Auditorium

 

The Shrine has two different venues in the same building. The auditorium and the expo hall. The auditorium is seated and seats about 6,000+ people. The expo hall is all standing and about 5,000 can fit

 

Yes, and you just said there are 2200 seats in the balcony of the Expo Hall that arent being released. 2200 is the seated capacity, meaning when they put seats down on the floor, it goes from 5000 to 2200.

 

Dang okay so only 5k. Still will sell out quick I think. I've never been to the shrine before. I believe just DJs play there for the most part.

How fast do we think this will sell out?

 

I doubt they last more than a few hours at most. I’m planning on flying in from Florida and I’ll have my finger on the trigger come time to buy.

friend saw it on facebook.. said someone posted to the national's fb asking if it were true. some radio station in RVA is giving away tickets via radio or fb id assume. safe to say its legit.

I am discouraged by it being called Raisin Hell in the Heartland. Hoping that doesn’t lead to exclude East Coast

 

A part of me thinks this will sell out first day (maybe first few hours) and another part of me thinks this won't sell out right away. My friends and I are all buying tix right at 10am just to be safe though.

I really hope at least part of the lineup gets announced when tickets go on sale but I'm assuming the full lineup won't get announced for awhile.

 

I mean I already bought tickets for the unannounced leaked Maine date. So at least northeast.

 

They said at warped last year that they’d be back in the spring/summer

 

I could see them opening for Zombie with INK

 

The only problem with that, is that they said that at the Buffalo (Darien) date and Zombie/Manson already hit Darien last summer. So sadly, I don’t think that’ll happen

 

motionless is also on inkcarceration sometime july 12-14 and there’s a manson date every single one of those days, albeit within the same state or close by.

 

I wonder if that is the show at the Agora that I heard about.
