They'd prefer to be called a "budget Saosin or Funeral For a Friend" but tomato/tomato

Cut to "BuT WiLL KeEne EVen ShOw Up?" comments.
What's really weird about this is that Interloper is just made up of half of what the Rings of Saturn lineup was at the start of the year.

  12. State Champs are teasing announcements for "New York and New Jersey" and they've got a "birthday to celebrate"... Finer Things 5 year shows?

Could be. Maybe Starland Ballroom and Upstate Concert Hall since thier winter headliner will be an A market tour? Starland has no show booked for Saturday Dec 29th (assuming this would be a weekend holiday show that's the only date available)

A five year tour from a band that has no need to rely on nostalgia at the moment is fucking weird.

It sounds like only a couple east coast dates. Probably something along the lines of "hey thanks to the people in these places that have been here since the beginning." I mean State Champs are from New York.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Bands shouldn't be doing anniversary shows/tours until a record's at least 10 years old, tbh.

It's probably a couple Christmas shows where they play the album. Not that awful if that's the case.

Honestly Florida is so big and decentralized and has such a small scene for this it's hard for bands to decide which Floridian cities to go to.

Like y'all have Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Tallahasee, Pensacola, Jacksonville plus smaller towns like West Palm Beach, Fort Myers & Lake Buena Vista.

Lake Buena Vista = Orlando. It’s just Disney property so it has a stupid town name. And literally no bands play in Ft. Meyers. And the scene isn’t as small as you’d think. But otherwise, you’re correct.

I can't agree with this more. I grew up in bumfuck VA and moved to Boston after college, then spent 3 years in Jacksonville (finally made it back to the Northeast, Jersey rules). Jax is a city of more than a million people, but if a tour made one Florida stop & it wasn't Jax I couldn't be that mad. Orlando and Tampa are like 4 hours or less from everywhere in Florida, they make the most sense. Also, Gainesville rules!
