Hellyeah's bassist is the brother of Mastodon's bassist, was in the bands Bloodsimple, Monstro, Medication

That is one I did not know. Bloodsimple was great.

not sure if I even mentioned this to anyone in here, or anywhere else for that matter, but when I saw MMI back in april they said they had a huge tour lined up for the fall that would be coming back to norfolk and I asked around when and levi said November. So something fell through somewhere. would have loved to have levi on stage for 2012. Oh well. They did however say they'd be back in that area of PA in the winter, so I'm betting we get an announcement next monday following HOA. :)

HELLYEAH is pretty big on the radio and as others mentioned; they have the starpower from previous bands like Mudvayne and Pantera.

American Satan (movie produced by Summerian and who announced Summer Slaughter this year) just teased Slaughter To Prevail, Bad Omens, and Fire From The Gods (I think?) for this. Also Asking Alexandria liked the post, and Palaye Royale liked All Stars post about it. So maybe first rumored bands/lineup:
    Asking Alexandria
    Slaughter To Prevail
    Bad Omens
    Fire From The Gods
    Palaye Royale

Obviously more bands to come, but STP and Bad Omens are a good start for me.

Yup it's FFTG. I'd be surprised if AA was on it, but we'll see.

STP, Bad Omens, FFTG I think are 100 percent confirmed. AA and Palaye Royale were just observations. The Browning also liked one of the posts.

was just coming to share this info ^^ AA has liked every post related to it. could AA do a late winter headliner and an early spring feb/march headliner? that close together, considering they'd be the headliner out of the rumored list so far? I can see MMI on it. they supported AA on a few off dates back in 2014. Could see this drawing well in most areas/markets.

    Asking Alexandria
    Miss May I
    Slaughter to Prevail
    Like moths to Flames
    Iwrestledabearonce(?)
    Sworn In
    Fire from the Gods
    Palaye Royale(?)
    Oceans Ate Alaska
    Bad Omens

i'd imagine bands who released or are releasing new material in 2016/2017 who have more hype, IMO to do headliners (Chelsea Grin, Emmure(maybe), MIW, The Color Morale(maybe)) I feel a big support tour for TWA needs to happen, but i'm more focused on their own headliner which has YET to be announced.

Where did you see AA doing a late Feb/Mar tour? If you're talking about All Stars, that's already been confirmed to be January-February. And I know I'm the one that brought them up and it's totally not coming down on your speculated lineup, but Palaye Royale sticks out like a sore thumb in that lineup lol.

ahh, never saw how early on the tour would be. also have never listened to PR, so i honestly had no clue on their musical elements should i say, kinda why i put the (?) there. i put one beside IWABO because not sure how relevant they are these days or how well they draw anymore. just pure speculation.

PR is like a classic rock/80's revival type band. IWABO was on the one in 2015 so it wouldn't surprise me. They could do a low tier spot for sure.

  13. bstadtfeld

    but does it djent?

I swear if Palaye Royale and Slaughter To Prevail are on the same tour, that'll be the most diverse lineup I've ever seen. PR was out of place on the ISS/CNCC tour this spring and that was just post-hardcore bands, let alone a brutal deathcore band.

But pr and iss are same label so that might of been why same tour imo but so true

They're also gigantic on Sirius XM. Their crowd at Rock Allegiance this past weekend was huge and they played at 3pm.

I'm surprised how many people have mentioned who HELLYEAH are and quoted me. I appreciate the info, but gotta be honest the band sounds like they would do nothing for me. I'd definitely want to know for sure In Flames is headlining the date that comes near me if I want to go. In Flames was the first band that allowed me to branch out into my music taste back in 2005, so it's more about nostalgia nowadays as I have only seen them twice.

They're entertaining live especially Chad Gray acting like a psycho but yeah, their music is just lackluster. Looking at the poster and seeing how Hellyeah and In Flames have put their logo first, this could be an alternate closer situation. You might have In Flames going on first and you'll be able to leave after their done.

For some reason, I thought the dates weren't announced yet. This isn't coming anywhere near me, so no worries. I'm interested in what In Flames will play in 2016 though.

It's obvious a Sumerian band will headline. Idk if All Stars would put AA on it since their headlines seem to get smaller and smaller. Miss May I would be a great band for main support.

Here's my thought. After the Burial is due for a headliner. They've been getting quite the push from Sumerian lately on their sponsored tours... There's also a LOT of hype on them headlining a tour since they haven't played more than a 6-7 song set since April 2015, so it would sell really well right now. I know they aren't bigger than Miss May I but I think they'd possibly sell better as a headliner (and Sumerian sponsored tour etc). Thoughts?

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

I don't think I can see this happening, a longer set sure but not as a headliner. Just my two cents, I could very well be wrong.

AtB will get great billing but I think they'll go with AAL (new album out in November), Periphery (who did 1,000 person venues) or maybe STYG (depending on how this tour goes).

Periphery could totally be the headliner! Totally forgot about them. They've for some reason not been a part of all the Sumerian celebrations.

They've been kicking ass all on their own, playing with like-minded bands and crowds of their music. I strongly doubt they'd do well opening for any other Sumerian band (maybe AAL) but if they're headlining All Stars, they'll get a diverse crowd that's going to pay attention to their set.
