I'm so psyched to see them on Saturday.

 

I used to live in Duluth, this is such an odd choice. Didn’t even know Duluth was considered a C market. There’s a huge music scene there but no metal presence at all. The last metal show I saw in Duluth was The Color Morale and Our Last Night in like 2012 and there were maybe 50 people there.

I guess I overestimated FFAK’s popularity because they played about the smallest venue here in Chicago too

 

i might consider that FFAK/LMTF show. not a bad drive and LMTF's new album was very good.

 

Well, it is their home country.

 

I may consider this show if LMTF plays a decent set length. they’re def my fav in that scene.

 

Trey from Invent Animate will be filling for Bobby on guitar on that FFAK tour.

spill canvas has a new EP coming out but there's a few old songs i'd love to see them play, only time i've ever seen them was when they happened to be at an emo night i was with a friend and we got two songs solo lol

 

Yeah I saw them open for MCS on their farewell tour and I think the only old songs they played were all hail the heartbreaker and...staplegunned?

 

weird, because then they spent the three years after that doing nothing but anniversary tours lol

 

I know! That was back when I didn’t follow shows as much. I’d love to see that first album live, even if a lot of it makes me cringe now.

 

do you mean the acoustic one? i really connected to one fell swoop a lot, i have a few songs of theirs that were my depression songs in like 9th grade, heh

I was gonna say that about the Bottom Lounge as well. Seems awfully ambitious for them, but I digress. Punchline played a 400 cap room last time they headlined in Chicago so I guess this seems like a logical step up if they're support here.

i might go because there are some spill canvas songs i haven't seen yet but it's the day before i might move as well

Pet Symmetry announced a Chicago show in July with more news coming this week. Wonder if it's just Erik and Marcus now.
