Ah. Yeah seems nice but super tiny. Only holds 100 or so. Don't think it's quite big enough to host some of the shows that hit up the Analog, but could be a good spot for local shows and small touring bands.

 

I mean, the Hawthorne could totally turn that smaller space into a mini venue if they got rid of all the tables. I’m not sure whether or not that’d be financially viable but I feel like you could fit a couple hundred in there. And you can’t hear the main venue at all in there, either.

 

Played with The Rocket Summer in that other room and it 100% works as a venue... but that side of the venue is 21+

Take Warning announced a show with The Regrettes at Analog earlier this week, and that already got moved to Holocene so that's probably gonna be the place from now on.

But also Take Warning just moved the Sunflower Bean show to Lola's Room. So who knows where everything will end up. Main take away here is that Take Warning is the best promoter

I've never heard of an outdoor concert at the Palladium before this will be interesting

I've never heard of them doing this, but it should be a fun time. What's interesting to me is that the parking lot isn't even that big? Like, I don't know that it would necessarily hold anymore people than the Palladium itself? Haha. So they're probably just doing it outside for the "vibe."

Which, in that neighborhood... I dunno. Regardless, there's no way this isn't a blast!

 

What's so bad about Holoscene? I've never been there.

 

The place where the music actually happens is completely separate from the bar/bathroom/etc area, and is accessed by one tiny door, and once that place fills up, there's no way to get in, and you cannot see the show at all. Obviously if you're an early arriver/non-drinker/etc it's not a big deal, but it's a real big pain in the ass. You'll see what I mean.

yessssss, going to try and reach the Royal Oak date. seen them twice (once with Starbomb) and it was amazing. Oh, the things i'd do to see Arin again.

I’ve heard of a couple but there’s nothing exciting. No crazy combos from what I know.

 

really hoping neck deep does something, they skipped st louis on their peace and panic tour. The real friends/grayscale combo would be really fun

 

I heard some 'legacy' scene bands (whatever that means) are doing a Live Nation Ampitheatre/Large Club tour late-Summer/early-Fall. Apparently a newer band is on the bill too.

The dude I talked to seemed kinda sketch, but it sorta fits with some of the rumors we've already heard.
