Depends on your definition of noticeable. Disembodied are legendary, no doubt, but:

-Vein is one of the most hyped bands within hardcore at the moment. Trail of Lies is also getting a lot of hype too from what I can tell.
-Twitching Tongues aren't slouches themselves in terms of their popularity...they've been around for almost 10 years at this point and have as many full lengths as Code Orange does. Their sound is pretty divisive tho.
-Nicole also seems like she has a pretty loyal following based on a quick scan of her Facebook page.

 

That's why I said direct support. Vein and Twitching Tongues are on the whole tour. Every one else is direct support on their respective shows.

 

Anyone interested in this should go, Within The Ruins new singer is absolutely amazing. I saw him at the original's final show in Worcester and he brought the new guy out

 

nicole dollenganger also frequently tours in the hardcore scene. she's from a couple hours away form here, and before she got picked up by grimes' management, she'd mostly do hardcore shows. I would love to see her but I think the last time she came to montreal it was on the grimes tour, and tickets were really expensive.

Anybody else try to grab tickets for The Longshot to have them sell out in like 5 seconds?

 

Yup, our system was a huge disaster. I managed to get a pair after 5 minutes of trying different browsers and getting error messages etc.

 

Hoping for some luck with My Bloody Valentine tickets today...

 

I thought the on sale for the long shot was noon not 10 but I probably wouldn't have gotten tickets anyway

 

Is Montreal sold out? I was gonna try and grab a pair, campus is like 2 blocks from my place

 

I tried in a couple different browsers for a half hour and had my friend try as well. Got nothing. I'm pretty pissed. I think a lot of people went for Toronto though.

where the hell is that show at? i looked at that flyer and have never heard of that venue. gonna assume it's a house show based on that...

 

Believe so, they had advertised a few months back and said they wanted to do house shows on this tour

 

not sure how many people care but BTS just announced a world tour and i'm really hyped.

 

this is hitting my hometown and I'm really curious about what kind of turnout there'll be and why a huge K-Pop show would come here

oh yea that's the date i'm going to. well BigBang, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and CL have all come to Toronto and sold out. Pretty sure this would be in Toronto had it not been for the Leafs and Raptors playing.

 

Yeah I've seen the big names like BigBang and SHINee play Toronto before (the latter played the same day as an Enter Shikari show so that was madness), I'm not sure Raptors or Leafs would affect scheduling in September unless it's like preseason games or something?

 

yeeea Leafs pre season is well underway by then and i think the Raptors as well. plus they would probably have to play 3 days in Toronto as well so I can imagine Hamilton is a lot cheaper
