i have to go to emo night on friday for my buddy's birthday and man maybe the ones in la and bk are way better but montreal emo night is goddamn depressing

 

i'm in tampa for my sister's graduation in a couple weeks and there's an emo night when i'm there but it's actual emo

except there's still panucci's pizza on the playlist i saw so uhh................

 

had zero clue people outside of that very very small concentrated emo facebook group community still (or ever) cared about panucci's pizza lmao

i'd probably rather a "fake emo" night than a bar night of exclusively real emo though haha. it's so funny, because my friends will complain about the playlist the other way ie "why is this emo night playing all that remains??? they should only play taking back sunday and my chem"

Sort of crazy there isn't even a thread for Punk Rock Bowling. I mean, I know this site never really covered much punk rock but still, it's a huge event, even if its only tangentially related to the "scene"

 

My homie runs the Tampa Emo Night and it just got moved to a better venue/bar. I would highly suggest attending if you’re in town.

considering at this point old gray is literally sorority noise, it's pretty surprising that they haven't outright cancelled that tour

 

i imagine that the other bands are trying to figure out if they can do the shows without them
