    2 things:

    1. Gross
    2. Why is she playing the same venue twice in the span of a month

when you're an abuser the amount of venues willing to book you goes down

I’ve never heard of this band. What did they do?

Yeah all those pop punk bands seem to always tour with the exact same lineups but I think it just looks weird because we’re older now. Like every tour being hot mulligan/jetty bones/homesafe/whatever is probably just 2018s version of every pop punk tour from 2010-2012 being TWY/Man O/Transit/Fireworks

New found glory/four year strong/set your goals always seemed to play in some sort of combo

Yeah, I saw FYS/SYG in December of 08 and I'm pretty sure they toured together again that following summer.

it was bad back then too, why the genre got so stale so quickly

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

It's just friends touring with friends, plain and simple. I really hope those bands reach outside their comfort zones though and book more interesting lineups in the future.

I feel like this sort of thing happens in every genre/sub-genre to some degree whenever a bunch of bands "pop" at the same time.

I'm going to sound old as fuck saying this, but I wish more bands would let themselves "branch out" and tour with more versatile line-ups. Considering how "open-minded" people seem to be as far as the kinds of music they listen to? I'm surprised it doesn't happen more.

most of that problem has to do with booking agents/labels wanting to stay in house

Jetty Bones is the best band on all these bills, every time

Well. The booking agents and labels need to get more diverse, then. There's so much room for crossover these days, I'm shocked it doesn't happen more.

guarantee you the people who were in their mid-late 20s in 2010 were saying that exact thing about pop punk from that era, in relation to the pop punk from 5 years before, whatever that was

    still emperor emo Prestigious

yeah? bands that play with the bands every time gets stale no matter what genre you're in

yeah I mean it's a genre made specifically for people of a specific age and specific life experiences, so if you stick around long enough, you're gonna get bored fast. i'm sure the guys who grew up when like NFG was on the come up were probably mostly fed up and jaded by the time the wonder years or story so far came up a decade after

It's true. Of the 10ish people I went to Pop Punk shows with from 2005-2008, I'm the only one still actively engaged in the scene.

I've still never seen Heart Attack Man, which is a shame. I am looking forward to go to to the Cleveland show!
