Sherman Theater is announcing a new show tomorrow. They've been getting some good ones lately so I'm curious.

 

Kinda off-topic, but did anything ever come out of the Moose Blood/Movements situation?

They said they'd release a statement but haven't yet, and now tix have been on sale for weeks so they can't pull out without screwing over the people who wanted to see them.

 

My friend spoke to Pat at a show the weekend of the 23rd and he said they'd be saying something in a few weeks. I think they might be waiting until the US tour is over but I honestly don't know.

 

I heard Movements were trying to book their own headlining dates there with a band supporting. I’d imagine they’re just waiting to confirm the dates.

Though I guess at this point no follow up doesn’t look that great.

Looks like The Fever 333 is going on tour. Why the Lincoln, Nebraska date is the only one I can find is weird but I'll take it

Bowling for Soup is playing Columbus, July 17 on their way to Warped.

 

This is such a rad tour/lineup, but honestly I don’t know how well it’s gonna sell. All three bands typically play 1000-3000 capacity venues and don’t usually sell them out, so them playing big amphitheatres seem interesting to me. Although I’m probably wrong

 

I can see that tour selling pretty well, however quietly it happens. All three bands have some overlap, but also have relatively distinct fan bases beyond that. Probably won't sell out many dates, but I don't see it "tanking" either.

Personally, I have zero interest in the bill (not into Bush or the Cult and I don't care about seeing STP without Scott) but looking at Facebook today... Many of the same people I know who are all about that Summerland Tour every year are excited about this one too.

 

Might see the Boston date. Not sure tho
