So the NOFX/Rancid tour rumor was BS, right? It was just the camp that was announced.

 

Too many great announcements today. Head'sgonnaexplode.

 

Damn. I may do this. Probably my favorite fest lineup so far this year.

Still waiting on Riot and Summer Slaughter though

 

Not sure how it works in the states but over here in England I remember one band saying that the Academy venues in Manchester take a third of the merch money at the end of the night. Less than jake and a couple of other bands I have seen(not sure who it was, I’m getting old) got around this by selling their own merch outside the venue which had the added bonus of upsetting all the bootleggers outside the venue. A lot of the smaller bands have really cut back on how much merch they sell as they have to take it back with them.

 

I would be at this in a flash if I lived anywhere local to it. Such a great ldea and lineup.

 

I hope Prince Daddy gets added to Bled Fest.

 

the nofx fest looks like a good time. I would go if it was anywhere near.

also, paying above $20 for a shirt is insane. I think I paid $35 for a Grouplove shirt for my GF. And the same for a brand new shirt, both within the last yearish. Insane.

 

I'm really really hoping but I feel like they would have announced that as well?

Makes no sense if they don't get added :(

 

The only reason I could see them waiting is to lump all of the last minute adds into one announcement?

 

I doubt they want anything to do with Jonny Craig anymore.

 

Speaking of P. Daddy, a Jul 20th date in San Francisco with Mom Jeans just popped up on my Facebook feed.

 

Money is money and their most recent tour actually did really well.

 

They were doing dive bars, so that doesn't say much. That scene is trying to distance themselves away from Craig. Plenty of other acts that can take Slaves' spot.

I know Slaves played small venues on their last tour but they almost sold out every date so they are having pull again so maybe they will deal with him. I know he is a huge asshole so I’m not trying to defend him but I do like his music.

 

The vocalist of Volumes, The Word Alive, and Bad Omens all came out to shows to support them so maybe they are making their way back in even though Jonny is one of the douchest singers out there.

 

NJ date competes with Warped Tour at PNC which makes me wonder if it will sell well. A lot of those kids like her for some reason.

 

I'm upset that it's the same weekend a Bunbury and NFG in Cincy.

I saw a video from a music blog I follow of the lead vocalist of Don Bronco asking everyone to take their shirts off and swing them around while they were performing. Pretty weird considering what everyone has said about the dude.

 

I just saw Don Broco and I didn’t enjoy it, but the shirt thing was pretty entertaining
