Does anyone know if 5FDP/BB tickets are available outside of the ticket to rock? I don't see an option for standalone tickets at my date which is disappointing

 

What's your budget?

 

$100-300. No wait, my bad. I was thinking of a cabinet. I already have an amp. Is there anything else I should know about touring ie soundcheck etc. Also, does anybody ‘now if ABR is doing a summer tour, besides those few Warped Tour dates.

 

I'd say going with a cheap Marshall cab is a safe bet. If you could find a used Mesa-Boogie cab in that price range then that'd work too.

 

An honest question: You don’t have gear or know how a soundcheck works but are going on tour?

 

I do have gear. I’m probably sounding dumb for asking these questions now, I feel like. Sorry for wasting your time, man. I guess I should say I just converted my room into a recording studio and go from there. I just would like to have an idea of what to do down the road. First thing is to clarify what I’m asking. I do have people interested though.

The fact that either of those bands are still getting booked sucks, but TOGETHER is just another level of awful.

 

No one under the age of 25 goes to see them anyway. Their crowd is just the old heads.

 

The only thing I know of the Dickies is the shit they pulled on Warped last year, but I know nothing about the queers. What’s their controversy? Just out of the loop and curious haha.

Well those are some beyond shitty things to be in support of. And literally the opposite of what punk stands for.

 

when you're old, jaded and feel replaced by younger generations of artists who do the thing you did 30 years ago but in a new and different way, you feel inclined to rally against whatever it is The Youths™ support.

Not to mention these old punks come from that generation of "punk is meant to piss people off" mentality, so it makes a whole lot of sense. when The Queers were at their peak, wearing swastikas on your person was a punk fashion statement, for example.

 

Making excuses for someone else's shit actions and beliefs is a bad look

I read my post like 5 times, and i'm having a hard time seeing it like that. I just think it's pretty easy to believe that an old jaded punk would grow up into a combative asshole who doesn't give a fuck about social issues.

To me, your post reads the same way a lot of people defend racist relatives. "They're old, it was different in their time and they don't know any better."
