The only similarity was that both are put on by Goldenvoice. If anything, Gov Ball is the closest to Coachella and it's still miles away from being Coachella.

    music is all we got

I have like a thousand shows to go to in October but man I hope I can make that Hellogoodbye tour, Z!A!V!D! is one of those really formative albums for me.

All of these are in Southern Cali or close to (Arizona I think is Desert Daze) if I remember correctly. Oregon to Southern California is like 3-4 regular/East Coast states travel wise. It may look like we get a lot, but really it's just Southern Cali that gets all the good shit.

haha. fit for an autopsy is the best band on that tour at this point. arch enemy hasn't been good in almost 10 years. and trivium finally seems to be regaining their footing with their new single, but I'll hold out judgment until the album comes out.

If they can hold onto a drummer for more than 20 minutes, Trivium would be a solid band. I hope for their sake they do whatever it takes to keep this guy! That new single was incredible!

Nick Augusto was the best thing that ever happened to them...but I could be a bit biased because I love Maruta. The new guy, Alex, seems to have a good pedigree though. He also plays in Brain Drill and used to play in Arkaik which are both wanky tech-death bands so it'll be nice to see a more straightforward outlet for his talent.

It will be interesting to see how this album pans out. Silence was a great radio rock album and it had some things that made it sound like Trivium but it also seemed like they just put out a straightforward album. What we hear on the new song is a more invigorated approach on the band. Also, it might just be the video but is Matt screaming again or is that Corey's screams?

Matt is screaming again now. He's finally learned to do it a different way without hurting himself. He was starting to get the hang of it last time they toured the states.

That's great to hear! I'm sure it's going to be more of a guttural growl than an actual throat scream but hey, I'm sure he's pumped to finally do it again!

Really hope this comes to Sac, which I can see happening. Been wanting to see Invent Animate again for awhile. May check out OAA again. They weren't bad from what I remember.

This sounds like a tour that would more than likely hit Sac rather than Bay Area. I could see this hitting the Goldfield Trading Post.

Source? That would be killer. And yeah from what I know IHW was supposed to do a headliner, they said so on Facebook and a couple other places. Makes sense though. I can't think of who is available that they could do a headliner with.

    This Monday, I think.

Someone on r/metalcore posted that he saw LMTF very recently and the drummer pointed out his IHW shirt, and told him about the tour; them two with FFAK. Phinehas is pretty much already known because of Ryan.
