My point is that if they aren't going to discuss any specific information whatsoever, why post anything at all?

Because it at least gives people a heads up that a tour is coming that may be of interest to them? I don't see why it's a problem honestly, especially when it's only a day notice.

Tours literally get announced every day.

Hot take: there will be a tour announced on Wednesday that may be of interest to someone in this thread. You're welcome everyone.

Well this is pointless. I'm glad this is a topic that someone is going to get up in arms and angry about lol

This thread is literally titled tour prediction and speculation thread. I really do not understand having an issue with someone saying that, especially when it's known they work for a venue.

    But okay

I enjoy when @JaytotheGee says tours are going to be announced because usually I can assume it comes here. Keep up the good work man

Definitely agreed especially the bolded area. I enjoy metalcore but it's really hard for me to get I to new metalcore bands nowadays. Majority of it just sounds incredibly generic and predictable.

Like you said I can see I, Prevail a Warped Tour staple every couple of years, but I highly doubt they'll be drawing 1/2 the crowds they're pulling in 3-5 years.

I remember at Warped 2007 or 08 Red Jumpusuit Apparatus had one of the largest crowds of the day by far. Their song Face Down was constantly getting played on the radio (still does receive radio play on some stations), their album went Gold, and they were drawing a lot. I passed by them at Warped 2009 and their crowd was maybe 2/5 (and that's being nice) of what their crowd was in 2007. My friend who wanted to see them for nostalgic purposes saw them within the past year and said the venue was maybe half full (300 cap).

Not saying this to be mean, just saying this happens to a lot of bands in this "scene." Play music marketed towards teens and majority of your fanbase will only be temporarily. Sorry if this offends anyone.
