On the topic of All That Remains, I feel like they have been trying to become another 5FDP for awhile now as terrible as that sounds. All of ATR's singles for the past couple of years can easily be mistaken for a 5FDP song.

 

It doesn't really help ATR sometimes play several shows with 5FDP, and that Phil filled in for Ivan last year while he was away.

 

ATR has been doing that mainstream metal sound for years now.

 

This tour is everything 10th grade me wanted

 

Can we shoot both Avenged Sevenfold and All That Remains into the sun? That's the only thing I have to add to this conversation.

I don't think he's a troll (my definition of that would be the Riot Fest Twitter account) and he's alienating a lot of people (along with a lot of his fans) for this small hard rock community that feels this way. I know this is just for publicity but it's either going to run out soon or he takes something too far that destroys his career. Either way, he's heading down a dangerous path.

Could be but I think he's just doing the "First and Second Amendment Supporter" more for publicity than anything else. I've never met the guy so I'm not sure if he truly believes in all of this but he's clearly doing it to get a rise out of people. Since we're talking about him, he's winning.
