    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I was considering seeing them next week since they’re rolling through town. But if they’re coming back next year to play Hangover, I’ll just wait it out.

(Also, that record is 20 years old now? Yeesh.)

if they talk as much during that set as they usually do, it'll be a 3 hour set.

Hilarious that the band with an accused rapist is suddenly taking some moral high ground about calling a woman a derogatory term.

From what I was able to discern both Avril and ATL has the same manager so likely management decision.

Will be interesting if any verbal shots are thrown on stage during either of their WWWY sets this weekend

Didn't Alex sing with Avril at WWWY last year? Pretty sure they still friends which makes sense that they'd kick off Gym Class Heroes. Still fuck ATL tho. Couldn't kick out Jack for being a predator.

Idk if the whole tipping your merch person topic has entered beating a dead horse territory, but I thought this was an interesting point made by a band I'd consider the same size if not smaller than Tesseract.

What's also odd about that ATL situation is, from what I've gathered, Jack doesn't really DO much in terms of writing for the band and is a mediocre guitar player at best.

Not sure it's a tour but Jason Isbell announced a show at Radio City in NYC on 2/24

Yep, there's a reason they always have a touring guitarist playing from the side-stage. But I guess 15+ years of friendship blinds your judgement.

the coffee shop soundtrack situation also makes Alex an incredibly unreliable narrator about whether having a relationship with a minor is harmful

Of course that Alkaline Trio tour comes to Michigan while I'm going to be in Orlando for FOB. Might have to run down to Cleveland.

It is but they hardly ever announce a full tour all at once. They trickle dates out here and there but are always on the road.

As a guitarist, it's hilarious to me when 3 guitars are needed to just play power chords and octaves

To be fair, Brett doesn't usually play with them but, yes, them and The Offspring really have too many guitars on stage.
