System of a Down, Bring Me the Horizon, and A Perfect Circle have all apparently teased Sick New World for 2024.

    Things have changed.

Y’all are high on actual drugs if you think Dance Gavin Dance can come anywhere close to filling the Sphere lol

I still feel like 400 dollars for GA to a one day festival is way too much, especially when you need to fly and get a hotel, it easily comes up to at least 1,000 dollars.

it is…but everything in Vegas is. So people just let it go cause of everything else you can do.

I’m getting stupidly antsy for the SNW lineup. What time’s it dropping?

I’d love to SNW go even deeper into industrial/goth this year. I suppose SOAD is headlining again? I’d love to see them sub for a rare NIN show.

It’s the 30th anniversary of the Downward Spiral next year…

I feel like there may be some shows, maybe not a full tour, happening for that.

Semi-related but similar to how people engage in fantasy sports, I would play the shit out of "fantasy promoter" where you have a budget and draft acts based on what you can afford, success dictated on box office/concession sales records.

I'd love if they had a fest like WWWY/SNW but for like, indie bands. Something akin to the "All Things Go" lineup this year, but bigger.

This would be so much fun, TBH! Haha. A podcast I listen to did something like that this year but it was an albums draft based on meta-critic scores.

Isn't that what Pitchfork and festivals like these are for?

But seriously, I can totally see it happen.

Feel like this fits that exact “nostalgic one day festival but for indie bands”

Agreed. I spent less than 400 for a 4 day GA for Aftershock with lots of bands SNW gets anyway.

That being said if the lineup is good ill buy a resale for half the cost.

I saw tickets for WWWY going for $180 on StubHub. Seems like waiting it out and getting it cheap is a good strategy.

Yeah last year multiple friends of mine were able to get tix for WWWY for about $100 each. Just gotta wait it out is all.

I’d love for a “Just Like Heaven Fest on steroids” sort of thing. Get The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs Modest Mouse, Death Cab and The Shins as headliners/sub-headliners and then stack it with indie groups of different eras

Someone on Instagram commented something along the lines of “if this is what people were talking about in the Facebook group, then I’m excited!”

Anyone know what they’re talking about?
