I paid $200 for both nights total for foo on the floor at wrigley field back in 2018. And I had a fucking blast. Was front row railing night 2

Glad I've already seen Foo Fighters twice at Fenway before ticket prices blew the fuck up and I can sit this one out. Gonna be a bloodbath getting tix for that tour.

Tickets for this are *easily* going to be $200+

I was supposed to see them in 2021 - but they cancelled that tour. I think my ticket then was like....$50 or $60 bucks.

The two groups finally put their differences aside and they get SDRE

I really can’t imagine FF charging $200+ as a starting price. I’d say there will be plenty of tickets priced between $75-90 in the upper levels.

Ill take this time to brag that I once saw the Foo Fighters at Irving Plaza
Things have changed since 2018 in ticket pricing...but of course if you could get on the floor for 100 bucks that's the move!

Queens of The Stone Age would make a lot of sense and would be amazing

There's a short list of 3-5 artists that I'd attend a show in an ampitheater, ballpark, or stadium to see of my own accord. And I'll only do that if I'm on the floor or in lower-level seating. For exactly the reasons you outlined.

And "lawn seats" at an ampitheater show are pretty terrible, TBH. You watch the whole thing on a screen. It's not my vibe at all. Similarly, upper-level seating anywhere gives me anxiety because of how steep it tends to be.

Personal opinion, but just not a fan of stadium shows, especially with the prices being charged. If I'm going to pay $200 to sit in a seat halfway across the stadium, I'd rather just try and see the act at a festival so I can be GA and get as close as I'd like.

This recent resurgence of stadium shows in the past 4-5 years is disappointing. Give me an arena or an amp over a stadium anyday. Still prefer a festival setting (better energy; crowd usually skews younger) or a club set.

I’ve only ever really attended one stadium show in my life and that was Hella Mega. I still had a great time in the far back, but I get why people don’t like them

Stadiums aren't made for acoustics. Atlanta has a billion dollar brand new stadium, and while it can host a hell of a production, the sound is atrocious.

Taylor put on a great stadium show (the massive wrap around screens at Sofi helped) but yeah I’d rather catch 99% of big acts at festivals at this point
