WCAR are gonna have a new record out this summer.. i'm sure someone in here knows there plans or has atleast heard some rumors.

 

Used to go to Wolf Trap all the time with my parents when I was very young and we lived in Alexandria. I remember very vividly my dad and mom hiding my little sister (age one most likely) under my mom's shirt or something so they didn't have to buy her a ticket for a concert there once haha. And then my dad railing about the evils of capitalism prolly but I was too young to pick up on that part.

 

I've lived in Maryland my entire life and I've never been to a show at Wolf Trap. Not even sure I know where it is

 

Northern Virginia right near Tysons corner/Dulles .

 

It's a great venue. You can even bring your own food and drinks (even ALCOHOLIC DRINKS!) as long as you consume them outside of the seating area.

 

Not beat a dead horse but are we any closer to finding out who this "big in the last few years" pop punk band is who are supposedly breaking up?

 

I only know the name but is this guy very popular? It seems like he has a huge presence online but I've never seen a show of his.

 

I think he's petty popular among the same kids who liked Bryan Stars. He did the Acoustic Basement at Warped in 2015 and then played the Full Sail Stage last year.

The Story So Far is recording a new album. Apparently, the band that is breaking up is releasing a final album and then breaking up.

 

The Story So Far would be the least surprising.

 

And they're a band that TWY could actually support...it's all coming together

I don't know a ton about specifics, but if they're just recording the album now, it's got to be at least 3 months before it's released right? Trying to decide if that timeline makes sense for a summer farewell tour, but I suppose if it comes out in July, there could be a late July - August tour. I wouldn't be shocked if TSSF broke up to be honest. It feels like there's not really anywhere left for them to go as a band.

Bringing up the pop punk band break up rumors...that's a paddlin'.

 

I mean obscure bands announcing little runs is cool and all but I won't apologize for this break up rumor being the reason I keep coming back here lol it's mind boggling

 

The person who teased the tour flat out said it wasn't TSSF or TWY. I think it's all bullshit. The only two bands that I've seen that could make sense are ADTR and Front Bottoms
