I mean we have seen a ton of bands do 10 year and 20 year tours. It’s going to be the norm especially with the nostalgia wave of the last few years.

I’ll maybe grab one modelo but that’s about it.

Love the 21 and over area though just because usually it has seating and nice vibes depending on the venue.

I may have bought a beer all of once at a concert.

Gen Z has less disposable income and ticket prices have increased exponentially so makes sense.

The touring economics are getting so depressing.

I guess it really depends on the market and the band. I think I am leaning more towards bands that have been around 10+ years, so the crowd is my age (30-40), and there seems to be plenty of drinking. And the turnouts in my market are almost always good, even for more obscure bands that I didn't think would sell so well. I live next to a new concert venue and I can tell when it's a young hip band by the people and their clothing. The line wraps around my building and I'm always thankful I didn't go to those and look like an old perv. I don't know how much alcohol those shows are selling.

I'm socially anxious and a heavy drinker though so I probably skew the numbers and the norm, but I'm a double mixed drink and 2-3 beers or 4-5 beers every show. I rarely have time to drink before as I'm rushing over from work so I just bite the bullet and spend the $50-60 on drinks at the show.

This might just be me, but I think Silverstein will do a fall US tour. Calling it for Nov/Dec timeframe.

I think someone on here who worked at a big amphitheater mentioned that even if a show sells out, if it’s not full of people buying concessions it’s not as profitable as one which may under draw but has an audience consuming a lot of alcohol.

Oh yeah, so many things are booked just to sell booze. Just got an email from the Wellmont in Montclair with free tickets to "Jimmy Kenny & the Pirate Beach Band", a Jimmy Buffett/Kenny Chesney cover band. I can't fathom anyone going to that sober

Their Aussie tour is the 2nd half of October. Could easily see late August-Early October tour for Silverstein. Would love if they did a TIHTWS tour.

On lead singer syndrome. Shane mentioned he knew of a big ls. Dunes tour coming up in the fall. I kinda thought he was hinting at them opening for silverstein. But I could be wrong
