the ticket buying process for fans is such a joke these days, but does anyone really expect the government to do anything? unless they can find a way to line their own pockets the dems and repubs both will let this slide lol

min a technical sense one could argue that what they are doing is illegal. You are not allowed to be a monopoly and then price gouge, which is what they are doing. I think most will 100% agree that as far as large venues across the country live nation has become a monopoly which is why they can do this, and I’d also say that they are price gouging and the practices are unethical. Now to your point will anyone do anything about it? Probably not, especially cause they can claim they aren’t a monopoly due to all the small venues and other small time ticketing agencies out there. But I mean we all know it’s bullshit.

That’s two BT/CH shows in July now, but I don’t believe it’s a tour or anything

My Lord. Early high school Troy would’ve creamed his sweatpants over that tour.

    I’ll probably still attend though.

I was very indifferent to Breaking Benjamin til I saw them last summer with Alice In Chains and Bush, not only did they sound great but their singer gave two speeches to the crowd during the set. The first one was about preferring to tour in the summer because he brings his son out on tour with him so he son can see the country and they can spend the summer together. The second one was a speech about all the hate out there, and we have to do better for the generation coming up. We have to accept they people love different things, live a different way, look a different way. He said we have to do better for tomorrow and I respected that cause I assume he says it every night and a lot of that tour was hitting cities where maybe that sentiment isn’t so welcome.

I was a big Breaking Ben fan in High School, I just fell off of that genre / type of music. That was a nice setement by Ben because I’ve heard and read multiple times how difficult he is. Maybe I’m misremembering things because the few times I had met him he was always cool to me.

Disturbed was also one of my top 2-3 favorite vans of that genre at the time. It’ll be a fun night I’m sure.

My wife was very into Breaking Benjamin when she was growing up, and on their singer’s solo tour last year, he came to our city’s main DIY venue so I took her to see him.

I called him “Mr. Benjamin” the whole night to embarrass her. The music wasn’t for me but he seemed like a cool dude

They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen. Sometimes they sound better live then on the actual studio recording.

Not to be dramatic, but if it’s anything short of a full return to touring I’m going to set myself on fire

yeah it’s bullshit, but for sure no one will do anything — otherwise they woulda done something years ago when LN first bought TM and turned this whole thing in its ass

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Gonna be honest and say Bane was always pretty mediocre to me, but if the populace is stoked, go for it.
