Dead Lakes are replacing Sleep Waker on the Thousand Below tour. Sleep Waker are rumored to have broken up.

 

Don’t think they broke up but they did just kick their vocalist out

 

I’ve been reading that Blessthefall is breaking up

 

Were they still active?

 

They were touring as recently as 2019, but haven't really done anything since the pandemic began.

 

A couple of the other guys in BTF made another band that just put out an ep, Beau had been in Canada the entire pandemic and is now hanging out with Lights on her tour.

 

This makes it sound like they're not married with a child

 

Osheaga's kind of a mess imo

 

when i saw one of the blessthefall dudes became a real estate agent or some shit i assumed they had broken up. i get it, though. they probably made a ton of money from like 2012-2014 but the genre is kinda dead in the water now.

 

Why? Arcade Fire seems like a totally fair replacement

 

I agree, Osheaga is in Montreal, Arcade Fire is one of the biggest banda from Canada and they are from Montreal, I think they are the perfect fit for it!

 

Still waiting on that Arcade Fire/Nickelback co-headlining "Monsters Of Canadian Rock" tour.

 

Eric has been a real estate agent for few years now. I hope Blesstyefall didn’t break up but I can understand why if they did

 

levi from miss may i became one too, i'm pretty sure. i'm sure they're in the same boat as btf, but miss may i are still actively touring.

 

Isn’t one of the dudes from OM&M a real estate agent now too? Seems to be a trend in that scene lol

 

Depending on the scope of the real estate industry they work in, it's a job that allows for some flexibility to tour/record/etc. Makes complete sense in my eyes.

 

True that. Now that you mention it, the bassist of Senses Fail is also a real estate agent lol

 

Yeah it’s also a hustle type of job and I’m sure those were the business guys in the band who hustled to make the band work. Similar skill set. Same with like graphic design or something. I was a tour manager and now I’m a therapist. I like to think the skills cross over haha
